a man with an indian accent called me today with information regarding a creditor i owe money. i recently filed for bankruptcy so i gave him my attorney information and phone number and then he calls right back and tells me i have violated a federal bank law and officers will be coming to my house because i commited theft by deception.

this number keeps calling on and off always hangs up when i answer or does not leave a message. when you call the number back it says mailbox is full.

These jerks are obviously receiving contact information from another party, specifically PayDay loan "matching" companies. That is how they have checking information about you. It is a scam and they will promise services and loans for a small monthly fee, then slam your checking account later and hope you don't notice, or will not act on it. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!
